Red meat, game, spicy dishes, fatty mature cheeses. In Montenegro, Vranac is traditionally drunk with Njeguš prosciutto, but also with dishes made from high-quality sea and lake fish - especially with smoked carp, as well as with all kinds of roasting and grilled dishes.
Despite extremely high temperatures and dry weather, the 2017 harvest was of exceptional quality not only for the production of red, but also white wines.
The grapes were in excellent health. Harvesting was done exclusively at night (due to lower temperatures), in order to preserve the full aromatic potential of the grapes.
