It goes well with homemade cheeses, smoked carp, trout and seafood. A great recommendation is sea bream or sea bass from gradel, octopus under the honeycomb, au gratin scallops, salads with chicken, as well as good pasta with parmesan and olive oil.
As a result of extremely high temperatures and low amounts of precipitation during grape ripening, unusual even for the conditions of our Ćemovsko polje, the technological maturity of the grapes was accelerated. Climatic conditions led to slight dehydration of grapes, especially those with thinner skins. Dehydration of grapes occurred after the stage of full phenolic ripeness had already occurred. In this way, the chemical components of the berry were concentrated and the quality of the grapes increased, so we had one of the best vintages.
